FAQs
Yes and no – I know that generic, standalone online courses often feel like an impersonal ‘tick-box’, so I designed my programme to be more accessible, flexible and communal. It provides meaningful outplacement support through three complementary components: an informative online course, a comprehensive workbook and supportive group coaching.
HR/People professionals with large-scale programmes, or a limited budget, who want to offer meaningful outplacement support through an online programme complemented by small group coaching.
‘Redundancy – creating your next chapter’ is designed to help your employees overcome the practical and emotional challenges of navigating redundancy, so they can move forward with confidence.
As it’s based on my experience working across sectors, with businesses of all shapes and sizes, it’s suitable for most organisations.
It is a good fit for your organisation if:
- You don’t have enough at-risk employees for an in-person workshop.
- You don’t have sufficient budget for 1:1 coaching.
- Your employees prefer self-paced, communal learning.
It isn’t a good fit if:
- You are seeking outplacement support for more senior employees, such as executives and senior managers. In this case, look at my Outplacement Executive Programme and Outplacement Management Programme.
- You are looking for a group workshop, in-person or online, which I offer through my Group Outplacement Programme.
Since every organisation is different, the best way to decide whether ‘Redundancy – Creating your next chapter’ is right for you is to get in touch for a brochure, or book in a call to discuss your requirements.
Yes, absolutely. I understand that timings around redundancies can be unpredictable, so the programme is evergreen. There are no rigid sign-up deadlines. Instead, you can give employees the flexibility to sign-up when they need it. Once confirmed, I guarantee onboarding within 7 days.
The fortnightly group coaching sessions are run online, for easy access from anywhere. Groups are kept small – up to around 10 individuals. Each session lasts an hour and the atmosphere is supportive, helpful and communal. Hosted by myself, or another experienced coach, the sessions provide an opportunity for people to come together, ask questions, and get feedback on any of the course modules – from identifying values to preparing for interviews.
The programme lasts for three months, with fortnightly group calls throughout, to maintain a sense of accountability and momentum.
