Outplacement Solutions at scale but always with a personal touch

We worked with this global logistics business during a restructure across a number of their sites providing outplacement support for a range of entry level roles in their operations teams. The support combined group outplacement workshops and individual follow up support.

Choosing the right outplacement services provider

The HR Director for this global logistics business connected with us on LinkedIn knowing they were going to need outplacement support in the months ahead.  They hadn’t engaged an outplacement provider before but knew they wanted to provide their team with as much support as possible. 

Their redundancies were of a significant scale and many of whom were impacted were long serving colleagues who hadn’t had to look for work in a long time. As additional challenge  in this situation were many of people in entry level roles didn’t have access to relevant technology at home in order to effectively prepare their CV and look for work.

We spent some time discussing the complexities of the restructure and we put together a number of options including one-to-one support and group workshops.   

 The HR Director wanted a flexible approach as the exact numbers of individuals impacted was fluid.  We agreed a series of face-to-face workshops with the opportunity to flex the dates with the necessary notice.  The workshops proved to be popular with high attendance and plenty of engagement.  We complemented the workshops with one-to-one support for CV writing and coaching as well as providing a suite of additional templates and resources..
